Cranberry bread from lisa clarke

Yield: 1 loaf

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Flour
1½ teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Baking soda
1 \N Egg
⅛ cup Soft shortening
¾ cup Orange juice
\N \N Thin rind of 1/2 orange
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Cranberries
1 cup Nuts

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. "MIX" in blender egg, shortening, orange juice, orange rind and sugar. Add cranberries & nuts, for 2 cycles at "CHOP." Empty into flour mixture. Mix by hand until moistened. Bake in a greased 9x5 pan at 350F for 50 to 60 minutes.
