Confetti mushroom and rice side dish

Ingredients

| 2 | tablespoons | Butter or margarine |
| ½ | cup | Diced red bell pepper |
| 3 | tablespoons | Sliced green onions including tops |
| 1 | cup | Uncooked long grain white rice |
| ½ | teaspoon | Dried thyme |
| 2 | cups | Chicken broth |
| 2 | cans | Green Giant Sliced Mushrooms, drained |
Directions
Melt margarine in medium saucepan. Add bell pepper, onions and uncooked rice. Saute for 2-3 minutes until vegetables become tender and rice begins to brown. Add thyme, chicken broth and mushrooms; bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Let stand 5 minutes.
