Come-and-get-it sauce for vegetables

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Sour Cream
¼ cup Mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Tobasco Pepper Sauce

Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and heat gently. DO NOT ALLOW TO BOIL. Spoon over the vegetables when serving or place them in a casserole topping with the sauce and sprinkling with bread crumbs. Place under the broiler until the crumbs are brown, 1 to 2 minutes. Ideal with cooked fresh asparagus, or broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, green beans and so forth.
