Cocunut homestead cookies

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Unsifted all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Baking soda
½ cup Butter or margarine
½ cup Sugar
½ cup Brown sugar
1 \N Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla
½ cup Quick cooking oats
1 cup Chopped peeled apple
2 cups Coconut

Mix flour with baking powder, salt & soda. Beat butter, gradually beat in sugars until light & fluffy. Blend in egg & vanilla. Blend in flour mixture, add oats, apple & 1⅓ cups coconut. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreaed baking sheets. Sprinkle with remaining coconut. Bake at 375 degrees about 10 min.
