Yield: 10 Servings
|¾ teaspoon||Ground cinnamon|
|10 \N||French baguette slices; (1/2-inch)|
|¼ cup||Apple butter|
Combine sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish; stir well, and set aside.
Brush both sides of bread slices with apple butter, and dredge in sugar mix ture; place the bread slices on a baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Turn slices over, and bake an additional 10 minutes or until toast ed. Yield: 10 croutons (serving size: 1 crouton).
