Chocolate cake brownies

Yield: 16 brownies

Measure Ingredient
⅔ cup Splenda granular sweetner
⅔ cup All purpose flour
⅓ cup Cocoa
1 teaspoon Baking powder
¼ teaspoon Salt
⅓ cup Soft margarine
2 \N Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla
⅓ cup Unsweetened applesauce
⅓ cup Chopped walnuts,optional

Combine splenda,flour,coca,baking powderand salt; set aside.In mixer bowl,beat margarine,eggs and vanilla 1 minute.Add applesauce and beat just until blended.Stir in flour mixture and nuts just until blended.Spread evenly in greased 8" square pan.Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until tester inserted in centre comes out clean.Cool on rack.Store in covered container in refrigerator.
