Chili pecan log

Yield: 24 servings

Measure Ingredient
8 ounces Cream cheese
6 ounces Garlic cheese; diced
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 dashes Hot pepper sauce
12 ounces Cheddar cheese; shredded
2 tablespoons Chili powder
½ cup Pecans; chopped

Place unwrapped cream cheese and garlic cheese in a 2-quart glass measure. Stirring midway through cooking, microwave on medium (50 percent) 2 minutes, or until softened. Blend Worcestershire and pepper sauce into cheeses. Fold in Cheddar, mix well.

To make two (6-inch) logs, work with half of cheese mixture at a time.

Sprinkle half of desired amount of chili powder on wax paper. Roll cheese mixture in chili powder to form a log. Sprinkle half of pecans on same waxed paper; roll log in pecans to coat. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Wrap each log in aluminum foil and chill until firm.
