Yield: 6 servings
|1 cup||Old fashioned rolled oats|
|⅓ cup||Butter or margarine|
|1 cup||Boiling water|
|\N \N||Add & stir:|
|1 tablespoon||Chicken or beef instant bouillon|
|1 cup||Shredded cheddar cheese|
|1 \N||Egg, beaten|
|\N \N||Add in, one cup at a time:|
|2 cups||To 3 c whole wheat or bread flour|
"This is a great recipe that I make once in awhile for our 2 dogs.
They love them and I know whats in them!!" - K. Conder Combine & let stand 15 minutes: Add flour to form a stiff dough. Knead until smooth and no longer sticky, 3 4 minutes. Roll or pat out dough to ½" thickness; cut w/ a bone cookie cutter or sm.biscuit cutter. Place 1" apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.Store loosely covered.
