Brunch pie

Ingredients

| 3 | tablespoons | Butter |
| 1 | pack | (8-oz) link sausages |
| 6 | Eggs | |
| ½ | cup | Half-and-half |
| Salt to taste | ||
| Pepper to taste | ||
| 1 | dash | Chives |
| ⅛ | teaspoon | Parsley |
| ¼ | cup | Cooked bacon; crumbled |
| 1 | cup | Monterey Jack cheese |
| 1 | 9-inch pie shell; baked | |
Directions
Fry sausages, slice and set aside. Melt butter in a large skillet.
Meanwhile, combine all remaining ingredients (except the cheese) in a bowl and whip with a wire whisk. Pour into the skillet and cook on low heat, stirring with a fork until the eggs are cooked, but still soft. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch pie shell. Place sausages on top of the egg mixture, top with cheese, and place under the broiler until the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes.
