Bread pudding, diamond style

Yield: 10 servings

Measure Ingredient
6 Eggs -- beaten
6 cups Milk
2 tablespoons Vanilla
1 tablespoon Margarine -- melted
1 cup Sugar
½ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Raisins
3 cups Dry Bread Cubes
1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Combine eggs, milk, vanilla, margarine, sugar, and salt. Blend to dissolve sugar. Butter a 9- x 11-inch baking pan and fill with raisins and bread cubes. Pour egg mixture over bread and sprinkle with cinnamon. Place baking dish in larger pan containing water. Bake in preheated 350 F oven for 45 mins or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean. Makes 10 to 12 generous servings.
