Bread pudding #1

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
3 slices White bread; cubed
2 tablespoons Butter or margarine; melted
2 \N Eggs
⅓ cup Sugar
¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
¼ teaspoon Salt
⅓ cup Sugar
1⅓ cup Scalded milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place bread in a buttered 1½ qt. casserole dish. Pour butter over bread; toss. Combine next 6 ingredients. Gradually stir in milk and vanilla. Pour over bread. Bake 45 min. Makes 4 servings.
