Bologna bunwiches

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Green Bell Pepper;chopped
½ cup Onion; chopped
2 tablespoons Cooking oil
8 ounces Can of Kidney beans;drained
8 ounces Can Tomato sauce
6 ounces Bologna slices;cut in strips
1 teaspoon Chili powder
½ cup Cheddar cheese;shredded
6 Frankfurter buns;split and
Toasted

In medium saucepan, cook green pepper and onion in oil till onion is tender but not brown. Add Kidney beans, tomato sauce, bologna strips, and chili powder; heat through. Add shredded cheese. Cook and stir till cheese is melted. to serve, spoon into frankfurter buns. Makes 6 servings. Source: Thrifty Family Meals by Tupperware's Homemade is Better.
