Boiled shrimp

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
5 pounds Shrimp; in shell
2 tablespoons Liquid shrimp boil
1 tablespoon Red pepper
1 can (12-oz) beer; optional
1 tablespoon Garlic powder; optional
1 \N Lemon; juice of
1 small Onion; sliced
½ \N Box salt

Bring all seasonings, except salt, to hard boil in enough water to cover shrimp. Drop in shrimp. When it boils again, add salt and stir. Boil hard for 1 minute. Turn off heat; cover pot; let stand 8 minutes. Drain.
