Boiled shrimp

Ingredients

5poundsShrimp; in shell
2tablespoonsLiquid shrimp boil
1tablespoonRed pepper
1can(12-oz) beer; optional
1tablespoonGarlic powder; optional
1Lemon; juice of
1smallOnion; sliced
½Box salt

Directions

Bring all seasonings, except salt, to hard boil in enough water to cover shrimp. Drop in shrimp. When it boils again, add salt and stir. Boil hard for 1 minute. Turn off heat; cover pot; let stand 8 minutes. Drain.
