Boiled red cabbage

Measure Ingredient
2 ounces Butter
1 \N Red cabbage
2 tablespoons Simple syrup
2 \N Apples, peeled and sliced
1 \N Onion, chopped
¼ pint Red wine
\N \N Juice of one lemon
\N \N Salt

1>. Melt the butter in a pan and add the shredded cabbage and syrup; brown over a low flame, stirring constantly.
