Blue cabbage

Measure Ingredient
1 \N Head purple cabbage; chopped fine
1 small Peeled onion; quartered
4 \N Whole cloves; up to 6
1 large Apple; quartered
3 tablespoons Vinegar
1 tablespoon Sugar; up to 2
1 tablespoon Flour; up to 2
2 tablespoons Oil

Combine cabbage, onion, cloves, apple, vinegar, ½ of sugar, and oil in a large pot or dutch oven. Add enough water to cover bottom of pot. Bring to a boil and simmer until tender. Dust w/ flour and remaining sugar before serving.

*note* makes a good amount!!
