Black eyed pea's broccoli cheese soup

Ingredients

2cupsWater
¾teaspoonSalt
½cupCornstarch; mixed with
1cupWater; cold
1pintHalf and half
1poundsVelveeta; cubed
½teaspoonPepper

Directions

Steam broccoli until tender. Place half and half in top of a double boiler.

Add cheese, salt & pepper. Heat until cheese is melted. Add broccoli. Mix cornstarch & water in a small bowl. Stir into cheese mixture in double boiler &heat over simmering water until soup thickens.
