Bisquick homemade

Measure Ingredient
5 pounds All-purpose flour
3 tablespoons Salt
2½ cup Powdered milk
2 tablespoons Cream of tartar
½ cup Sugar
2 pounds Vegetable shortening
¾ cup Baking powder

Stir together dry ingredients; cut in shortening until it resembles corn meal. Place in large container; keep cool.

Biscuits: 3 c. Homemade Bisquick ¾ c. water Blend and knead about 10 strokes. Cut out and bake in preheated 450 degrees oven.
