Ingredients

| 5 | pounds | All-purpose flour |
| 3 | tablespoons | Salt |
| 2½ | cup | Powdered milk |
| 2 | tablespoons | Cream of tartar |
| ½ | cup | Sugar |
| 2 | pounds | Vegetable shortening |
| ¾ | cup | Baking powder |
Directions
Stir together dry ingredients; cut in shortening until it resembles corn meal. Place in large container; keep cool.
Biscuits: 3 c. Homemade Bisquick ¾ c. water Blend and knead about 10 strokes. Cut out and bake in preheated 450 degrees oven.
