Ingredients

5poundsAll-purpose flour
3tablespoonsSalt
cupPowdered milk
2tablespoonsCream of tartar
½cupSugar
2poundsVegetable shortening
¾cupBaking powder

Directions

Stir together dry ingredients; cut in shortening until it resembles corn meal. Place in large container; keep cool.

Biscuits: 3 c. Homemade Bisquick ¾ c. water Blend and knead about 10 strokes. Cut out and bake in preheated 450 degrees oven.
