|1 can||Tomato soup|
|2 pounds||Ground beef|
|1 \N||Envelope onion soup mix|
|½ cup||Bread crumbs|
|1 \N||Egg -- beaten|
In large bowl, mix thoroughly ½ cup tomato soup, beef, onion soup mix, bread crumbs and egg. In 2 qt oblong baking dish, firmly shape meat mixture into 8 x 4" loaf. Bake at 350 for 1 ¼ hours or until meat loaf is no longer pink. Spoon off fat, reserving 1 to 2 tbsp drippings. In 1 qt saucepan over medium heat, combine remaining tomato soup, water and reserved drippings. Heat through, stirring occasionally. Serve with meat loaf.
