Best of philly brownies

Ingredients

| 1 | cup | All-purpose flour |
| ½ | cup | Plus 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
| 5 | tablespoons | Butter |
| 1¼ | cup | Sugar |
| 1 | Egg | |
| 2 | Egg whites | |
| 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla extract |
| 1 | teaspoon | Espresso in 1 teaspoon of water |
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray 8-inch square pan w/ vegetable oil.
Stir together the first 4 ingrdients and set them aside. Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in the sugar, add the egg, egg whites, vanilla and espresso.
Beat w/ wooden spoon until well combined. Scrape mixture into prepared pan.
Bake 20-25 minutes.
Yield: 1 batch
