| ½ | teaspoon | Salt and a dash of pepper |
| 1 | cup | Boiling water |
| ¾ | cup | Pickled beet juice |
| ⅓ | cup | Sugar |
| Dissolve Jello in boiling | ||
| Water. Add beet juice, | ||
| Sugar, salt and pepper. | ||
| When cool, add: | ||
| 1 | teaspoon | Ground horseradish |
| 2 | teaspoons | Grated onion |
| ¾ | cup | Diced beets |
| ¾ | cup | Diced celery |
