Measure | Ingredient |

½ cup | Olive oil |
2 \N | Onions, chopped |
4 \N | Garlic cloves |
2 pounds | Runner beans, trimmed & sliced |
1 pounds | Tomatoes, chopped |
1 tablespoon | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | Salt |
½ teaspoon | Black pepper |
1 teaspoon | Basil |
2 cups | Stock |
Heat oil in a pot & fry the onion for 2 minutes. add garlic & fry together. Add the rest of the ingredients & the seasonings. Mix together well. Fry for 5 minutes. Add stock. Simer till the beans are tender. Serve hot or cold.
