Yield: 1 dozen
|⅓ cup||Margarine, melted|
|1 teaspoon||Vanilla extract|
|½ cup||Sifted flour|
|1 teaspoon||Baking powder|
|1 cup||Mashed, ripe bananas|
|1 cup||Chopped nuts|
Preheat oven to 350oF. Combine margarine, cocoa and sugar in large bowl. In separate bowl, combine eggs, vanilla and milk. Sift flour, salt and baking powder into another bowl.
Alternately add egg and cocoa mixtures to sifted dry ingredients.
Stir in bananas and nuts. Pour batter into greased 8" square baking pan. Bake for 50 minutes. Cut into bars while still warm.
