Aunt ethel's beef casserole

Ingredients

| 1 | pounds | Ground beef | 
| 1 | cup | Chopped onion | 
| 2 | tablespoons | Shortening | 
| 1 | can | Tomato soup - undiluted | 
| 1 | can | Chow mein noodles | 
| dash | Salt | |
| ½ | cup | Water | 
| ½ | cup | Shredded cheddar cheese plus extra for topping | 
| 1 | can | Creamed corn | 
Directions
Brown meat and onion in shortening.  Mix in salt, pepper, corn, soup, water and cheese.
Put in casserole, top with chow mein noodles and grate a little more cheese on top.
Bake in preheated 350 oven for 30 minutes.
