Apricot oatmeal squares

Yield: 25 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 each « cups all purpose flour
« cup white sugar
« cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 cup Cold butter
1 each « cups rolled oats
« cup desiccated coconut
1 cup Apricot jam

Combine flour, sugars, and baking powder. Cut in butter until it is in tiny bits. Stir in oats and coconut. Reserve about 1 cup of the mixture for topping. Press remainder into buttered 9" square baking dish. Spread base with jam. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture on top. Bake at 375F for 30-40 minutes or till lightly browned. Cool.
