1cupButter Buds liquid or Promise Ultra Fatfree Margarine
1cupFirmly packed brown sugar*
½cupEgg Beaters
cupApple juice
2teaspoonsVanilla
cupWhole wheat or white flour
2teaspoonsCinnamon
1teaspoonBaking powder
1teaspoonBaking soda
¼teaspoonNutmeg
4cupsQuick cooking oats
2cupsPeeled and deiced green apples
½cupRaisins
1cupSugar**

Directions

Heat oven to 350. Spray pam on a 15½ x 10 ½ x 1" pan. Combine liquid Butter buds, brown sugar, and sugar in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Beat in Egg Beaters, apple juice and vanilla. Combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and nutmeg. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed until blended. Stir in oats, apples and raisins with a spoon. Spread in pan. Bake at 350F 30-35 minutes or until brown and tothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into 2 ½ x 1 ½" bars.

Note: These are really good served warm with a teaspoon of Dream Whip on top. You can also bake these as muffins at 425F for 15 minutes.

These muffins make a great quick breakfast. Bake a batch and store in the freezer for later use.
