Apple dilly cake

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Butter
1 cup Sugar
1 \N Egg; well beaten
1½ cup Sifted flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 cup Walnuts; chopped
1 cup Raisins
¼ teaspoon Cloves
½ teaspoon Allspice
¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
½ cup Cold Coffee
1 cup Apple; coarsely chopped

Cream butter and sugar; add egg. Sift dry ingredients. Add alternately with liquid. Stir in apples, nuts and raisins. Turn in well greased and floured 11 x 7½ inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 35 minutes. Cool thoroughly in pan. Keeps well and improves.
