Yavapai sunflower bread

2Egg; beaten

1cupFLour, whole wheat
cupSunflower seeds, ground shell & meat or meat only
½cupSunflower meats; whole or coarsely chopped

Directions

Beat the honey and butter together, then beat in the eggs. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and ground seeds, adding to the honey-butter mixture alternately with the milk. Fold in the whole sunflower seeds. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake one hour at 325 F. Cool on a rack. This bread slices better when cool.
