Williamsburg scalloped oysters

| ½ | cup | Flour |
| 1½ | teaspoon | Paprika |
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
| 1 | dash | Cayenne |
| 1 | small | Minced onion |
| ½ | Minced green pepper | |
| ½ | Minced garlic clove | |
| 1 | teaspoon | Lemon juice |
| 1 | tablespoon | Worcestershire sauce |
| 1 | quart | Oysters with liquid |
| ¼ | cup | Fine cracker crumbs |
Directions
Melt butter in saucepan; add flour, cooking & stirring until light brown. Stir in paprika, salt, pepper & cayenne. Add onion, green pepper & garlic; cook over low heat 5 minutes, stirring. Remove from heat & add lemon juice, Worcestershire & oysters (which have been picked over & heated in own juice). Pour into greased 1½ quart casserole; top with cracker crumbs. Bake in 400 oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
