Ingredients

| 1½ | cup | Coarse cracker crumbs |
| 8 | tablespoons | Melted butter |
| 1 | pint | Oysters |
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ⅛ | teaspoon | Pepper |
| ¼ | cup | Oyster liquid |
| 2 | tablespoons | Milk |
Directions
Combine crumbs & butter. Put thin layer of crumbs in the bottom of a 1-½ quart baking dish. Alternate layers of oysters & crumb mixture, sprinkling each layer with seasonings. Never use more than 2 layers of oysters. Pour oyster liquid & milk over the last layer & top with crumbs. Bake in a very hot oven (450) for 30 minutes. Serves 4.
