Scalloped oysters #3

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Coarse cracker crumbs
8 tablespoons Melted butter
1 pint Oysters
½ teaspoon Salt
⅛ teaspoon Pepper
¼ cup Oyster liquid
2 tablespoons Milk

Combine crumbs & butter. Put thin layer of crumbs in the bottom of a 1-½ quart baking dish. Alternate layers of oysters & crumb mixture, sprinkling each layer with seasonings. Never use more than 2 layers of oysters. Pour oyster liquid & milk over the last layer & top with crumbs. Bake in a very hot oven (450) for 30 minutes. Serves 4.
