Whole wheat pie dough

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Whole wheat pastry flour
½ teaspoon Sea salt
½ cup Canola or safflower oil
Plus 1 T
3 tablespoons ;ice water -- plus 1 1/2 t

Put the flour and salt in a bowl and stir together. Add theoil and water and stir until it forms a crumbly meal.Gatherup thedough intoa ball. (The dough will be moist.) Press the dough evenly and firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch or 10-inch pie plate so it rises about ½ inch above the edge of the pie plate. Flute the edges of the crust, if desired.
