Whisky chicken

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
4 \N Chicken portions
2 ounces Butter
\N \N Salt and pepper
75 millilitres Whisky
200 millilitres Single cream
8 \N Slices Cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 400'F. Melt butter in pan. Wipe chicken portions,season and fry until browned on all sides. Transfer to shallow, ovenproof dish. Bake for 30 mins. Remove from oven and pour over whisky. Pour cream around chicken and top with cheese slices. Return to oven for 20 mins until cheese has melted.
