Vegetarian burgers (the uncow burger)

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Canned butter beans
¾ cup Bulgur; cooked
¾ cup Barley; cooked
½ cup Quick oatmeal; uncooked
1½ tablespoon Soy sauce
2 tablespoons Barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon Dried basil
½ cup Onions; finely chopped
1 \N Clove garlic; finely minced
1 \N Stalk celery; chopped
1 teaspoon Salt
\N \N Pepper to taste

With a fork or potato masher, mash beans just slightly. They should be chunky, not pureed. Add the rest of the ingredients and form 6 patties.

Spray skillet with oil and brown patties on both sides.
