Vegetarian burgers (the uncow burger)

Ingredients

1cupCanned butter beans
¾cupBulgur; cooked
¾cupBarley; cooked
½cupQuick oatmeal; uncooked
tablespoonSoy sauce
2tablespoonsBarbecue sauce
1teaspoonDried basil
½cupOnions; finely chopped
1Clove garlic; finely minced
1Stalk celery; chopped
1teaspoonSalt
Pepper to taste

Directions

With a fork or potato masher, mash beans just slightly. They should be chunky, not pureed. Add the rest of the ingredients and form 6 patties.

Spray skillet with oil and brown patties on both sides.
