Measure Ingredient
2 cans Chick-peas, drained and mashed (10 1/2 oz ea)
1½ cup Finely chopped pecans
1½ cup Whole-wheat bread crumbs
1¼ cup Finely chopped spinach
¾ cup Grated carrot
¼ cup Chopped green pepper
¼ cup Chopped red pepper
6 \N Shallots, chopped
2 tablespoons Chopped celery
1 tablespoon Chopped fresh parsley
¼ teaspoon Pepper
¼ cup Mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Butter or margarine

Combine chick-peas, pecans, bread crumbs, spinach, carrot, green and red pepper, shallots, celery, parsley and mayonnaise. Shape into 6 patties.

Saute patties in butter, cooking until browned on both sides.
