Turkey pita tacos

Ingredients

1tablespoonCider or red wine vinegar
1teaspoonChili powder
1teaspoonGround cumin
¼teaspoonSalt
¼teaspoonPepper
1cupCubed cooked turkey or chicken
1mediumGreen pepper, chopped
1mediumSweet red pepper, chopped
1smallTomato, chopped
1cupChunky salsa
3Green onions, thinly sliced
1can(4 ounces)shredded cheddar cheese
5Pita breads ( 6 inches ), halved

Directions

In a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients; set aside. In a large bowl, combine the turkey, peppers, tomato, salsa, onions, olives and garlic. Stir the oil mixture; pour over the turkey mixture and mix well.

Stir in cheese. On a lightly greased griddle, heat breads on both sides.
