Thelma lou's corn custard > mayberry

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Canned cream style corn
3 larges Eggs or 4 small, well beaten
2 cups Warm milk
1 teaspoon Sugar salt and pepper to taste dash nutmeg
½ cup Bread or cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons Melted butter

Grease a 6 cup casserole dish. In a large bowl combine the corn, eggs, milk, sugar, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour into the prepared dish.

Combine the crumbs and melted butter, tossing well. Sprinkle over the corn mixture. Bake in a 300F oven for 35-40 minutes, or until firm. Serve 4-6.
