|1 can||Sour cherries; drained|
Add pinch salt to milk and scald. Mix cornstarch ½ cup sugar and egg yolks together and add to scalded milk. Cook. Add butter and vanilla. Drain cherries; mix 1 cup sugar into the cherries. Combine flour and a little water together; add to cherries. Pour milk mixture over cherries and let thicken.
