Texas style pizza

Measure Ingredient
½ pounds Ground beef
1¾ ounce French's Chilli-O-Seasoning
16 ounces Canned tomatoes
15 ounces Kidney beans; drained --

1 pack Active dry yeast
¾ cup Warm water
2¼ cup Biscuit mix
½ cup Cornmeal
\N \N Shredded cheddar or American
\N \N Cheese

Brown ground beef in large skillet, stirring to crumble; pour off excess fat. Stir in seasoning mix, tomatoes, and beans; simmer, uncovered, ten minutes. Sprinkle yeast over warm water in large mixing bowl; stir to dissolve. Add biscuit mix and cornmeal; stir until smooth. Knead 25 strokes on floured surface. Divide in half, roll or pat each to a 14-inch circle on greased pizza pans or baking sheets. Spoon filling on top of crust; sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 425 degrees F. for 15 to 20 minutes, until crust is golden brown.

Serves 6 to 8.
