Yield: 8 Servings
|½ cup||Pizza sauce|
|1||Pizza (12-inch) crust|
|⅔ cup||Canned black beans, rinsed and drained|
|1 cup||Pineapple Tidbits or Pineapple Cubes, drained|
|½ cup||Red or green bell pepper, sliced|
|¼ cup||Diced green chiles or jalapeno pepper slices|
|¼ cup||Chopped green onions|
|1½ cup||(6 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese|
|2 tablespoons||Chopped fresh cilantro|
1. Combine pizza sauce and salsa; spoon sauce over pizza crust. Top with beans, pineapple, bell pepper, chiles and green onions. Sprinkle with cheese and cilantro.
2. Bake at 425 F. 20 to 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
3. Garnish with extra salsa and avocado slices if desired. In place of salsa, 1 cup pizza sauce can be used.
