Southwestern style pizza

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Pizza sauce
½ cup Salsa
1 Pizza (12-inch) crust
⅔ cup Canned black beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup Pineapple Tidbits or Pineapple Cubes, drained
½ cup Red or green bell pepper, sliced
¼ cup Diced green chiles or jalapeno pepper slices
¼ cup Chopped green onions
1½ cup (6 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons Chopped fresh cilantro

1. Combine pizza sauce and salsa; spoon sauce over pizza crust. Top with beans, pineapple, bell pepper, chiles and green onions. Sprinkle with cheese and cilantro.

2. Bake at 425 F. 20 to 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

3. Garnish with extra salsa and avocado slices if desired. In place of salsa, 1 cup pizza sauce can be used.
