Swiss steak mediterranean

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Spaghetti sauce
½ teaspoon Dried whole oregano
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
1¾ pounds Beef round steak, trimmed of fat, cut into 6 pieces
2 mediums Onions, cut into chunks
½ pounds Small whole fresh mushrooms (about 2 cups)

Stir first four ingredients together in bowl.

Place steak pieces in 3½ quart slow cooker. Pour ⅓ of sauce over and between pieces.

Sprinkle onion and mushrooms over top. Pour remaining ⅔ of sauce over all. Cover. Cook on Low for 7 to 9 hours or on High for 3 ½ to 4 ½ hours. Serves: 6 Typed in MMFormat by cjhartlin@... Source: Company's Coming.
