Sweet and sour meatballs #1

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Ground lean pork
1½ pounds Ground round
1 cup Bread crumbs
½ cup Almonds; ground fine
2 \N Eggs
3 tablespoons Soy sauce
2 \N Cloves garlic; minced fine
2 teaspoons Salt
\N \N Nutmeg to taste
\N \N Ginger to taste
\N \N Cornstarch
3 cups Sugar
3 cups Pineapple juice
¾ cup Soy sauce
6 tablespoons White wine
1 cup Vinegar
⅓ cup Catsup
3 cups Water
¾ cup Cornstarch

MEATBALLS

SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE

Mix all meatball ingredients well; make into meatballs & roll in cornstarch. Fry for 10 minutes. Add balls to sweet & sour sauce & simmer.

Sweet & Sour Sauce: Combine sugar, juice, soy sauce, wine, vinegar & catsup & bring to a boil. Mix cornstarch & water. Add to boiling ingredients & stir until thick. MRS TERENCE (TIMMY) CAMP
