Surprise chili

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 pounds Lean ground beef
1½ cup Onions -- chopped
2 Cloves garlic -- crushed
28 ounces Tomatoes -- crushed
16 ounces Sauerkraut -- drained
15 ounces Pinto beans
14½ ounce Beef broth
4 tablespoons Chili powder
¼ teaspoon Pepper

Heat oil in 3 quart saucepan. Brown meat, onions and garlic. Drain.

Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low.

Simmer, partially covered, for 25 to 30 minutes. 351 calories and 15 grams fat.
