Yield: 3 servings
|2 tablespoons||Bacon drippings|
|2 cups||Okra, sliced|
|2 cups||Corn, fresh|
|4 larges||Tomatoes, diced|
|Salt and pepper|
In a skillet heat bacon drippings, add fresh okra and corn, saute for a few minutes until tender crisp. Add tomatoes (diced) and water, salt and pepper to taste. Add sugar and simmer for about 1 hour on very low heat.
