Stuffed peppers\\clay cooker

Measure Ingredient
4 eaches Large green or red peppers
½ pounds Ground beef
\N \N Salt, pepper, and nutmeg
6 tablespoons Chopped onions
4 tablespoons Chopped bacon
2 tablespoons Parsley, minced
3 eaches Eggs
¼ cup Bread crumbs
¼ cup Cooked rice

Soak lid of clay cooker. Mix all ingredients and stuff peppers. Set stuffed peppers into the cooker. Cover and put into cold oven. Turn to 425F and bake for 60 minutes. From Schlemmertopf recipe book.
