3 \N | Green bell peppers; halved |
¼ cup | Chopped onion |
1 cup | Water |
2 tablespoons | Butter |
1⅓ cup | Instant potato flakes |
¼ cup | Milk |
1 \N | Egg; beaten |
1 pounds | Sausage; cooked |
1 cup | Mozzarella; shredded |
Boil peppers 15 minutes. Drain; arrange cut side up in a pie pan. Combine onion, water and butter and bring to a boil. Stir in potato flakes, milk and egg. Stir in sausage. Spoon into pie pan over peppers. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees 15-20 minutes.
