Stuffed pepper pie

Ingredients

| 3 | Green bell peppers; halved | |
| ¼ | cup | Chopped onion |
| 1 | cup | Water |
| 2 | tablespoons | Butter |
| 1⅓ | cup | Instant potato flakes |
| ¼ | cup | Milk |
| 1 | Egg; beaten | |
| 1 | pounds | Sausage; cooked |
| 1 | cup | Mozzarella; shredded |
Directions
Boil peppers 15 minutes. Drain; arrange cut side up in a pie pan. Combine onion, water and butter and bring to a boil. Stir in potato flakes, milk and egg. Stir in sausage. Spoon into pie pan over peppers. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees 15-20 minutes.
