Ingredients

1cupYellow cornmeal
1tablespoonBaking powder
¾teaspoonSalt
2Eggs
¼cupLight brown sugar
1cupMilk
cupMaple syrup
¾Stick butter, melted

Directions

Mix together flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt. Beat eggs and sugar in another bowl until smooth. Add Syrup and milk to egg mixture and mix well. Pour over dry ingredients and add 4 Tablespoons of the melted butter. Fold until moistened. Fill muffin cups and bake 25-30 mins. at 350. Brush tops with remaining butter.
