Strawberry-pineapple salsa

1cupFresh strawberries, hulled and diced
3tablespoonsSweet onion, finely diced
1Fresh jalapeno, seeded and finely minced
1tablespoonUnseasoned rice vinegar
2tablespoonsFresh cilantro, minced
Salt to taste

Directions

From this past Thursday's Food section in the Miami Herald to serve with grilled foods.

In a nonreactive bowl, combine pineapple, strawberries, onion, jalapeno and rice vinegar. Toss and allow to rest 30 minutes but not more than 1 hour.

Add cilantro and salt. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Makes 4 half-cup servings.
