Strawberry jewels

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Butter
6 ounces Cream cheese, softened
2 teaspoons Vanilla
1 cup Whole wh pastry flour
1 cup Rolled oats
\N \N Jar strawberry preserves/jam


Cream together butter and cream cheese. Blend in vanilla. Add flour and stir in oats. Chill sough overnight. Roll out on lightly floured boatd to ¼" thickness. Cut with 2" round cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Make an indentation on each cookie in it's center with your thumb. Fill with 1t preserves. Bake 350 deg, 20 mins or until golden.
