Measure Ingredient
¼ cup Rum
1.00 tablespoon Shallots; chopped
4.00 tablespoon Butter or margarine
1.00 tablespoon Parsley; chopped
2.00 teaspoon Lime juice
½ teaspoon Tabasco pepper sauce
4.00 \N Beef steaks


In saucepan, combine rum and shallots; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 2 minutes. Stir in butter, parsley, lime juice and tabasco sauce. Brush steaks with rum butter. Grill or broil 6" from heat.

Cook about 8 minutes, turning steak once. Brush with rum butter occasionally. Heat any remaining rum butter to boil and serve with steaks. Serve with additional tabasco sauce if desired.
