Ingredients

| 2 | pounds | Squid, cleaned |
| ¾ | cup | Olive oil |
| 1 | Sprig parsley, chopped | |
| 1 | Onion, chopped | |
| 1 | Garlic clove, minced | |
| 1 | teaspoon | Dried basil |
| ½ | cup | Red wine |
| 16 | ounces | Tomatoes, crushed |
Directions
Wash squid thoroughly. Cut into ½" rings or pieces about 1" square. saute squid in hot oil for 1 minutes. Add parsley, onions, garlic, and basil.
Cook for about 5 minutes. Add wine. Civer and simmer for 5 more minutes.
Add tomatoes and cook for ½ hour or until squid is tender. Add more water as needed, while cooking.
