Spanish style liver

Yield: 5 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Sliced beef or calves liver
4 slices Bacon -- cut in half
½ cup Carrot -- chopped
½ cup Celery -- chopped
1 Small onion -- sliced
1 pounds Stewed tomatoes
1 teaspoon Salt
⅛ teaspoon Pepper
1 Bay leaf

Place liver in slow-cooking pot. Arrange bacon on top. Mix reamaining ingredients and pour over liver. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.

Remove bay leaf.
